Liberian Soccer League serving Street-Living Children

The story of Abraham Moses would not be a pleasant one to hear without the hope that L.A.C.E.S. has brought into his life through sports and the teachings of Jesus Christ. In the video, he asks L.A.C.E.S to allow more of his street-living friends to be able to join the program that changed his life.

The Specifics: What will the $1,500 fund?

Due to limited funding, L.A.C.E.S is unable to fulfill Abraham’s request in allowing more vulnerable children to join L.A.C.E.S. mentorship-based soccer league. In their current situation, street-living children are vulnerable to violence, but with $1500, L.A.C.E.S. would be empowered to bring 10 more children like Abraham Moses into our soccer league.

I was in Liberia and saw the beginning of L.A.C.E.S. As Liberian and a serving member its Local Board, I want to unequivocally say that being a part of L.A.C.E.S and investing into this ministry (that picks up hopeless children from the streets of Liberia and gives them hope through the practical expression of the Love & mentorship) is an investment worth doing because it has an eternal value & reward. Go L.A.C.E.S Go! For even the sky cannot limit you!

Having met James and Seren recently I have to say it was deeply moving to not only see an organization funneling positive things like religion and sports to enhance people lives, but to to have two people that were so dedicated and passionate about their mission. Aside from voting, I encourage everyone to go to their site and donate at least $5, $10 or twenty dollars. It's organizations like L.A.C.E.S, small and large, that truly bring change to the world and its inhabitants.

This is an awesome organization that keeps Christ at the center of their ministry. From the video, it is so neat to be able to see what a huge impact L.A.C.E.S. is making in the lives of these children. His only wish is that his friends could come too. What a awesome opportunity we have to be able to help these children and give them hope!!!
